Here are the topics discussed: - WIS Sharing - Comp Plan Review - Daegan Smith Strategy Review - Funded Proposal - Any Other Matters WIS Sharing =========== - WIS stands for World Internet Summit - It was started about 3 years ago - Brought to Singapore in Oct 2005: Attendees pay US$1,999 - Nov 2006: Price per ticket was S$1,500 but many people pay S$400 - It feels like a high class 'pasar malam' - It's also a pitch fest where more than 10 speakers come together to give some contents and then pitch their products - May 2007: The 24th WIS, branded as World Internet Mega Summit was held where it was targeted to have 5,000 attendees at S$197 for 2 persons *** What did we learn from WIMS 2007? *** ----------------------------------------- - Rome was not built in a day: many people lack the computer/Internet skills' foundation and therefore not satisfied when they attend the coaching programs they sign up during WIS. - "Success leaves traces" by Armand Morin. We must learn from successful people. We all need a mentor. - "Learning from own's mistakes is not smart". It's smarter to learn from other people's successes. - "We become what we think about ALL DAY LONG!" Robert Kiyosaki mentioned in his book "Retire Young Retire Rich" that people either focus on saving money or making money. - "Do not focus on challenges but solutions" - "Sucessful people have goals and make things happen!" - During NAC, T Harv Eker shared that success is 80% showing up - Success requires progressive and small steps - Success is a journey. We must enjoy the process and the events and the friends we make along the way. It's not all about the money. - "The FUTURE is not an optional event. Everybody has to turn up. The question is: How do you want to show up?" Wise words from Stephen Pierce Comp Plan Review ================ - Three streams of income from SU (a) Fast Start Bonus - a new member starts as 'Student' and earns US$20 for each PREMIUM member they personally enroll. As he/she enrolls more students, can get promoted to higher rank like COUNSELOR (by personally sponsoring 5 PREMIUM's) and now earns US$25 per PREMIUM member sponsored. To be promoted to DIRECTOR, one has to personally sponsor 10 PREMIUM, and then raise 3 counselors, each in 3 separate personally sponsored organizations. (b) Weekly Binary - this is calculated on weekly basis and paid according to number of cycles (2-4, 3-3 or 4-2) of new PREMIUM students that join your organization in each week. Each cycle is paid up to US$40 *one-time* only. The maximum payout is up to US$10,000 per week. (c) Monthly Binary - this is calculated on monthly basis and paid according to number of cycles (2-4, 3-3 or 4-2) of ACTIVE - meaning BASIC or PREMIUM - students who remain in your organization each month. Each cycle is paid up to US$40 per month only. This component alone can run up to US$40,000 per month per account. (d) Team Building Bonus - this is usually announced at the beginning of each month. For a PREMIUM student who brings in 2 x PREMIUM students who bring in 2 x PREMIUM students each (therefore known as 2 x 2 bonus) within that calendar month, he/she will be paid US$500! Note that all credit cards used in the 2 x 2 must be unique, a requirement by Success University. Login to your Member Back Office, click "Learning Centre" at the top left hand menu. - Long tail keywords: Read this book by Chris Anderson and you will learn about a revelation that the top 10 hits in anything such as movies or music albums do not dominate the market. There is a long tail of products that add up to a huge proportion of sales that cannot be neglected. Applying that to Internet marketing, when someone search with a long tail keywords, he/she is a very targeted visitor and likely to buy if your product/service is relevant.
